I was hung over...
Yeah yeah yeah! I know what you are saying with your "religious" hats staring down your nose on your lofty perch. What can I say? This is actually one time where I don't have a good excuse I was hung over.
Now hung over on what?
Friday night:
I over ate so i was hung over on food and good wine
Saturday night:
I over ate and drank quite a bit so i was hung over on food and wine
Sunday:
Exhausted from Saturday, I drank alot and ate a bit so you guessed it
Hung over on wine and food
Why all this eating you may ask?
Well on Friday, my wonderful hostess and I decided to go to a MoneyGram free dinner for young professionals. So here we are, I went for the free food but T went for the company you know, enjoying dinner with people from Ariztos Mag and other Nigerian people eating good salmon and drinking nice cocktails. My picture is officiall going to appear in some nigerian magazines like Excellence, Ariztos, and uhm...Ovation. All because I went for free food.
Now on Saturday the first ever Nigerian Entertainment Awards was hosted in Maryland. I attended along with a whole bunch of Nigerians. My girl T was sitting right next to Akon's brother. Of course I had dissed the guy for wearing a "fake ass chain". You know one of those fifty cent wierd chains with spinners and crap. Little did I know it was Akon's brother. I changed my mind afterwards and decided it wasn't fake.
A few rows infront of us was Two-Face the nigerian artist turned american celebrity. And then to our left in the front was Oluchi the Nigerian "Victoria Secrete" model who i had dissed outside for wearing a short ass dress. Wow, how funny it was to see that I had missed a photo op moment with a VS model.
After the show (which was fun) we headed to a "mango" bar and had a few drinks and crashed at Loli-pop's place. Sunday was a lazy day with just drinks and food and watching of Legends of the Fall.
Monday: Dr. Ifiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii and Dr. Ngo came and got me and took me out all day, we had a late night and didn't go to bed until 5:00am
Tuesday: Dr. Ifiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii and Dr. Ngo and I went to the inner harbor in Bmore. We were looking so cute we decided that as opposed to letting our feet hurt we were going to go to the cheescake factory and eat some good food. yeah needless to say we took a lot of pictures and ended up with a 121 dollar tab because we eat to much.
We were supposed to go see a movie but all the good ones were already playing so we went home. Had another girls night in (spent the whole time talking about our guys and how wonderful they are) and went to bed at 3:00.
Wednesday: Went to D.C. to drop Dr. Ifiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii off so that she could get ready for her "wonderful" weekend and ended up staying there till 10:00pm so we wouldn't miss So you Think you Can dance! Don't hate on me jare! What can I say, I am a Simon Cowell fan. Got home at 1:00 am tired out of my mind.
Thursday: Went to drop Dr. Ngo off at the Bus Stop she is going to NY to see Uncle W. So uhm...yeah...and then went to Dance practice with Nike (Swoosh) and had a lot of fun stretching my muscles.
So that has been my time off from you. This weekend is looking bright. There is a dinner tomorrow at P.F. Changs with the whole posse (minus Dr. Ngo who is in N.Y. and Vixen who still lives in Cali and Dr. T who is taking some kind of exam in NC) and then there is dinner/party on Saturday for K. and Wale Ariztos so that would be fun! Okay i am leaving in two weeks. I am already begining to feel sad because i have had tooooooooooooo much fun but then I miss my baby too so I am happy to be going home. Now if my baby could come and stay with me here....
ponder that thought for a while, while I take a sip of my coke....
okay, so my causin's wedding is coming up(Chi-Town) and then there is this NANA camp(ATL) and then Naija Fest (MD), and FE is getting Married (NY) and D is having her party (MD) so summer is not over but then again even if it is I still need to party...
Maybe I can convince T and D to go to the beach with me sometime this week. It is to hot to be running around Baltimore, we need some waves!
peace
