EXTREMELY BORED

Went to bed at 7 this morning. Why?

Because Idle minds and idle hands are the devils workshop. Went running with baby at 6 and then made him his lunch (awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww, shurrup your mouth jare). Woke up at 2 and got ont he stair master. Got off two minutes ago and began reading blogs. I AM BORED!

Another reason why I don't fit in this mode of house wife. I have cleaned, cooked and reorganized the house three times since I have been home. And now I swear if I move another peice of furniture the poor man is going to have a heart attack. What is it with the new generation of women. We can't sit still.

I think I get it from my mother. (Who is still smoking hot (in a i am not a leech sort of way) and working and globe trotting. She was always doing something and working at something or starting something. She was not one to sit at home and watch TV as my couch potato ass has been doing for the last few weeks.

Perhaps there is more to that. In reading a novel that my wonderful friend T gave me, the author talked about how women are now the new men...Don't like that then check this theory out. How many times guys have you sat and thought about kids, the house with the picket fence and just coming home and enjoying your wife's company with rugrats running around? Now girls, how many times have you thought about the same thing? Compare your answers. Of course the guy smiles about it but the modern girl? we begin to cringe (belly fat from stretching to have those hellions, there goes the social life, there goes the career, responsibility of another human being and so on...

Twenty years ago, we would have been smiling along with the men.

Even though our hearts still leap with joy at the thought, the dread we feel when we see our girlfriends hauling thier little demons around to "adult only" parties cause they couldn't find a babysitter, or hearing the whining and the crying and the carrying on of these kids, or just being in a room where they are acting out of control and your drained friend looks apologetically at you with envy in her eyes has lead us to a place where we begin to say "I am sooo (emphasis on so) happy I don't have children"

The fortunate thing is this...Love changes everything!
