Is it Luck that Makes Us Great?

My family is my strength, that keeps me grounded in peace.
If not for thier moments I wouldn't be able to breathe, live or think
My sisters keep me glowing with pride, and so much grace
And not mention the money they send me every other day... (excerp from one of my poems)

I don't know how I got so lucky.
It all started when my parents decided to have more than one kid. They had my sister and I of course, and then gave me two wonderful little sisters that I could beat on and just mess with.

As the years went by, the beatings stopped but the wonder of my sisters continue t this day...I feel that the one reason I am so good at being a human being is because I have been lucky enough to have these amazing divas standing beside, behind and with me.

And about four years ago, when I still doing my playa playa crap, I met this amazing person who has supported and lifted me emotionally, spiritually and in everyway a person can be lifted. There are so many circumstances that could have prevented meeting any of these people (siblings and my fiance) but I am soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo fortunate and lucky.

And so when I begin to rant and rave about money or emotional problems, please refer me back to this post and tell me to shut the fuck up! because I am great and lucky as hell!

I love this excerpt of your poem, maybe because I know the subjects of it. I just wanted to let you know that as a Black and Proud sister you should continue to keep the diva flag of uniqueness, style, and elegance flying
